Take it to another level and make the experience even more special with a personalized engraving engraved on the back of the watch.
The durability of a product depends mainly on its materials. For Mathieu Blanchard Signature watches , we use materials that last over time.
For the crystal, we use sapphire crystal: This is the most frequently used crystal on today's high-end watches. Sapphire crystal is 10 times harder than mineral glass and 4 times harder than acrylic glass. It is virtually impossible to scratch except by diamond which is even harder. This glass is designed in the laboratory.
For watch cases and bracelets, we have gone to great lengths to produce using sustainable materials like natural, sustainably sourced wood and matte finish stainless steel. This finish allows visual durability, since the wear of time appears much less than when glossy.
Loving nature, it is often for us a source of calm, comfort and very often the starting point for our jewelry collections & accessories. We are proud to offer watches made of noble and durable materials. Our main material is wood which has a significant advantage on the environment compared to other comparable materials: low carbon emission during the production process and biodegradable nature of the materials.
Our watches are handcrafted with great precision, by a strong experienced team. Each watch is naturally unique and made with real wood such as walnut and oak (from Whiskey barrels).
GREEN GOLD 10K, 14K OR 18K
Pure gold is 24k. On the other hand, in pure state, gold is too soft to be able to make jewelry, but is sometimes used in veneer or leaf. In jewelery, we must combine metal with other metals to give it resistance. Most of the time, it is the money that is chosen to give this strength, but also copper. The 14k gold and 10K are the most popular in jewelry.
-
Gold 10K is a very good alternative for smaller budgets.
-
14k gold contains 58.3% gold, while 18K gold is composed of 75% gold.
Gold is naturally yellow, but we are fluent in the market, white and pink gold; In order to give the platinum color to white gold, we combine it with nickel and zinc.
Gold is an excellent choice if you tend to tarnish your jewelry.
925 sterling money
Sterling money, commonly named Silver 925 is a fine metal, composed at 92.5% fine silver. Often, this metal is combined with another metal, copper generally. This is why it is better to make sure you do not react to copper; If so, the jewel will tarnish faster. When the silver jewel loses its brilliance, it is possible to clean it; For example, it is possible to obtain a cleaning product.
- When covering platinum sterling, rhodium or white gold 18K, it gives it extra shine and more prestige. This layer gives protection to the jewel so as not to tarnish it. However, it is recommended that you do not put it in contact with harmful products, at the risk of damaging the protective layer.
- When we cover yellow or pink gold silver, we change the color jewel. In this case, the veneer makes it possible to carry a fine jewel, of quality, to the desired color, for a more restricted budget than the one requested to carry a genuine gold jewel. However, it is recommended that you do not put it in contact with harmful products, at the risk of damaging the color and thus, find the natural color of money.
Sterling money is an excellent choice for your jewelry as a much cheaper metal than gold, it allows to wear more massive jewelry for a reasonable price.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel, commonly appointed Stainless Steel, is a durable metal. It is recognized not to tarnish and do not lose its brilliance. However, stainless steel designed jewels are normally series and less delicate in the details, since rarely worked by hand, by a jeweler (unlike silver and gold). Proudly wear this metal, all occasions. With his gray color, he will fit all your outfits.
- When covering yellow or pink gold stainless steel, we change the color jewel. In this case, the plating makes it possible to carry a jewel to the desired color, for a more restricted budget than the one requested to carry a golden jewel. It is also possible to have a stainless steel jewel with black PVD. However, it is recommended not to put the jewelry with veneer in contact with harmful products, at the risk of damaging the color and thus, find the gray color of the stainless steel there is below the veneer.
Stainless steel is a very economical choice without neglecting the look and durability.
Titanium
- When one covers the yellow or pink gold titanium, we change the color jewel. In this case, the plating makes it possible to carry a jewel to the desired color, for a more restricted budget than the one requested to carry a golden jewel. It is also possible to have a titanium jewel with black PVD. However, it is recommended not to put these in contact with harmful products, at the risk of damaging the color and thus, find the gray color of the stainless steel there is below veneer.
Tungsten
Tungsten is a very resistant metal. He does not scratch, never! This metal can go from gray to black, depending on the degree to which it is heated. Note that it is impossible to cut this metal. The rings manufactured in this material are designed to the unit and it is impossible to adjust them later.
