About green amethyst

Green amethyst has recently gained popularity, although this stone does not naturally occur in nature. In reality, green amethyst is green-colored quartz, created by heat-treating natural amethysts. This process reveals a unique green hue, which can vary from light green to a deeper green. Although often called "green amethyst," the stone could be better described by its scientific name, prasiolite.
