The grain of the wood, like a fingerprint, is unique, which makes every watch entirely different. Each watch is crafted with great care, so that it is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Take it to the next level and make the experience even more special with a custom engraving on the back of the watch.
The durability of a product depends primarily on its materials. For Mathieu Blanchard Signature watches, we use materials that are durable over time.
For the glass, we use sapphire crystal: This is the glass most frequently used in today's high-end watches. Sapphire crystal is 10 times harder than mineral glass and 4 times harder than acrylic glass. It is virtually impossible to scratch, except by a diamond, which is even harder. This glass is laboratory-designed.
For the watch cases and straps, we have made enormous efforts to produce using sustainable materials such as natural, sustainably sourced wood and matte-finish stainless steel. This finish allows for visual durability, since wear and tear from time is much less apparent than on polished surfaces.
We love nature; it is often a source of calm, comfort, and very often the starting point for our jewelry & accessories collections. We are proud to offer watches made from noble, sustainable materials. Our main material is wood, which has a significant environmental advantage over other comparable materials: low carbon emissions during the production process and the biodegradable nature of the materials.
Our watches are handcrafted with great precision by an experienced team. Each watch is naturally unique and made with real wood such as walnut and oak (sourced from whiskey barrels).
