This unique pendant is inspired by a miniature painted by the Armenian miniaturist asdvadzadour in 1419. The original miniature is located in the Avédaran Vasbouranan (Vasbourangan Gospel). Stylized birds were widely used to decorate manuscripts in the Middle Ages.
The pendant is set in a sterling silver bezel, while the partitioned enamel is placed on a thin copper sheet covered with 24 carat gold and a fine silver sheet.
